What is Nutrition Coaching?

My focus as a Registered Dietitian and Certified Nutrition Coach is to help you transform your lifestyle and understanding of nutrition so that you never have to go looking for another nutrition program again.

 

My approach to nutrition coaching is goal-based. Here's what I mean by that:

  • Every person is uniquely different and has their own goals. The difference between where you are now and where you want to be is where I come in.

  • I help you learn how easy it is to simplify your nutrition and find success in achieving your goals.

  • Daily, weekly, and monthly we work together to set SMART goals (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound) so that you can feel challenged but confident in the changes we’re making together.

  • Our work is driven by you. If I’m not working to understand you more as a person and let you steer the ship, then I’m not doing my job right. I provide the framework, the expertise, the accountability, the tools, and the coaching, but ultimately, you help me to help you.

  • I operate under the philosophy that good health is inherently yours. Through education and ongoing collaboration, you and I will transform your way of thinking about food and enhance your skills in executing healthful nutrition.

  • I build each successive session to further enhance the knowledge, skills, and habits forms in previous months. It’s not a sprint. It’s a marathon, and it’s worth mastering every bit of the journey along the way.
